Eric Broens, Mol, Belgium reports a possible sighting of DM Lyr on Sept. 05.943 UT (mag. 15), but clouds prevented him from a further positive identification. 1994 09 02.856 UT, [14.8 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl., seq TA); 09 05.943 UT, 15: (E. Broens, 0.35-m refl., seq TA, clouds); 09 06.924 UT, 14.6 (G. Poyner, 0.40-m refl., seq TA); DM Lyr was last seen in outburst on July 4, 1994 (T. Vanmunster), when it reached mag 14.7. V1113 Cyg [UGSU, 14p - <17p] ============================ Referring to the announcement in CVC No.14, we have been informed that L. Szentasko, Veresegyhaz, Hungary made an independent detection of the outburst on Sept. 1.816 UT, using a 0.33-m reflector. Taichi Kato (Ouda Observatory, Kyoto University, Japan) communicates : "V-band CCD photometry at Ouda Station on Sept. 3 clearly indicated superhumps in V1113 Cyg. The superhump has an amplitude of 0.23 mag (V) and a period a bit shorter than 2 hours". The observation assigns V1113 Cyg to the UGSU-type dwarf novae (despite its original UGSS classification). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE (UT) MAGN MS SEQ OBSERVER REMARKS SOURCE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1994 08 31.8 [14.0 mv ?? * Szentasko, L. 33-cm refl. UZ Boo [UGWZ, 11.5v - 20.4V] ============================ This dwarf nova has shown very interesting activity lately, when it suddenly brightened to mag 13.9 again, as indicated by the observation of Bill Worraker (Didcot, UK) below. Confirmation of this remarkable event is highly encouraged. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ DATE (UT) MAGN MS SEQ OBSERVER REMARKS SOURCE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1994 08 23.502 12.3 CV GS * Ouda Team 60-cm refl.
