Confirmations have been received from Gary Poyner, Birmingham, UK and Eric Broens, Mol, Belgium. 1995 Aug 17.918 UT, [15.6 (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl., seq: Kato); Aug 18.922 UT, [15.0 (T. Vanmunster); Aug 21.927 UT, 15.1 (T. Vanmunster); Aug 21.946 UT, 14.9: (G. Poyner, 0.40-m refl., seq: VVS/GSC); Aug 21.960 UT, 14.9: (E. Broens, 0.35-m refl., seq: Kato); Aug 21.963 UT, 15.0 (G. Poyner, seq: Kato); V1060 Cyg is located at : R.A. = 21h07m42.29s, Decl.= +37d14'08.3" (J2000.0). We have found no previous outburst observations of this dwarf nova in the "Outburst Activity Database on Selected Cataclysmic Variables" (Vanmunster and Howell, 1995).A finding chart and sequence recently was distributed on VSNET by Taichi Kato et al., Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan. Another one appeared in (Astron. Nachr., 289, 1-2,1966). GO Com [UGWZ:, 13.1p - 20p] =========================== Concerning the third outburst of GO Com, reported in CVC 51, Daisaku Nogami and Taichi Kato, Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan report following follow-up observations :"GO Com is now undergoing a rapid decline. The current outburst clearly is a normal one. According to the "disk instability" theory, it can be expected that such a normal outburst occurs just after a superoutburst." ----------------------------------------------------------------------- DATE (UT) MAGN MS SEQ OBSERVER REMARKS SOURCE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- 1995 08 13.445 15.4 CV GSC *Kato et al. 60-cm refl. VSNET V1028 Cyg [UGSS, 13.0p - 18p] ============================= Taichi Kato, Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan writes : "An alert from M. Iida (VSOLJ, Nagano, Japan) tells that V1028 Cyg, after expe- riencing a long-lasting superoutburst and a dramatic fade, is caught again in outburst! (or post-outburst brightening). It would be interes- ting to see whether the current brightening is short-lived like a normal outburst, or long-lived just as the post-dip behaviour of AL Com (intensively followed quite recently)."
